Wow. We read Niebuhr, discuss his anachronisms re. communism on Sunday, then hear today of the 20 year anniversary of the Berlin Wall Fall today. Poignancy.

And...How ironic is it that we are reading about how war is a drug, yet we celebrate our addiction with this crazy Ft. Hood memorial. I think the RFB club knows more than they think they do.
"It is all just a lattice of coincidence." from "Repo Man" a great mid 80's movie. Just for the scene where Emilio Estevez drives the convertible down the street to Jonathan Richmond's "Pablo Picasso."
PS: we think we know a lot; hubris waits around the corner.
